Why do I Love God?

Have you ever asked yourself if you love God?

Have you been in love? Why do you love her? Why do you love him? How many live their lives saying they love their loved ones, but can’t say why.

It must be a definite quality that draws you to love that person. And it has to be exclusive, no one else has it. When you see that person or think about them, that unique quality arises in your mind.

So, you must mine and dig very carefully because that quality is a unique treasure that will last “until death do us part”.

I love God with all my soul, with all my mind, and with all my strength. I am passionate about Jesus! I do NOT love Him for what He has given me, nor for what He does, I love Him for the uniqueness of His character! He is immutable, never changes! When He tells you that He loves you, nothing and no one can interfere with that love.

My love for Him is a very strong statement, I also appreciate what He does and all He has given me. My heart is full of gratitude for His goodness and mercy! But, if my love is the result of what I receive from Him, what will happen when I don’t receive what I ask for?

My love for God is a very strong statement!

The language of love knows when to say “yes” and when to say “no.” And He knows what is best for me and when I am ready to receive or not.

My Lord is not like the others and His name is full of power. He is the King of all nations. The wisest men cannot compare with Him!

“Lord, there is no one like you! For you are great, and your name is full of power.” . (Jeremiah 10:6-NLT).

Who would not fear you, O King of nations? That title belongs to you alone! Among all the wise people of the earth and in all the kingdoms of the world, there is no one like you. (Jeremiah 10:6-NLT).

When I am in troubled waters, His unique quality comes to mind and becomes my safe hiding place. I love Him because He is the same today until eternity! He does not change, He is immutable!

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” psalm 46:1
