Different Response to the Same Situation

My Time with God

When I read the Holy Scriptures, I write my feelings next to the passage and I date it. Sometimes a deep groan comes from my soul, other times laughter, etc.

Reading the Book of Exodus last year on this day, I noticed that I finished reading chapter two with deep groans. The financial situation of the church was very bad. The school was heavily in debt and we only had 20 students.

Despondent, my soul is downcast.

My heart was totally broken. Seeing how God saw the suffering of the children of Israel and how He acted on their behalf made me wonder, when will He see my suffering?

“ …and they cried out, and their cry came up to God on account of the bondage.

God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.” (Exodus 2:23-24 MEV).

Today, January 26, 2023, I read the same passage again, but my response is totally different. The financial situation is the worst I have ever seen. Students have been mysteriously abducted from our school, leaving only eleven students.

Dark troubled waters

The human reality indicates that there is no hope, but the spiritual reality within me shouts “It is finished!” I am crossing dark and troubled waters, but the sweet stillness that guides my soul makes them calm waters.

The Lord Jesus Christ is my peace and total contentment!

The amazing thing about still water is that it makes sheep reproduce. Psalm 23 speaks of restoring the soul. The Good Shepherd leads me beside still waters. Although, in the natural my hope is against hope, in these still waters there is no fear because the Lord is my Shepherd and I will lack nothing!

And you too can enjoy this peace in the midst of the cruelest storm. Ask the Lord Jesus Christ to save you and give Him your problems. You will receive His peace that passes all understanding. May the Lord richly bless you!

This is my Story! What’s Yours?

We are precious children of God.

We are wonderfully complex!

We are precious children of God.

We are a spirit and we have a soul.

Appearance is only one third of us.

That is why our spirit and our soul hunger and thirst for God.

We are a spirit and we have a soul.

Appearance is juts a third part of us.

That is why our spirit and soul hunger and thirst for God.

It does not matter our color, hight, age, weight, etc., what is seen is the smallest part of it , which is the body, which is not permanent, which disappears with the passing of seconds.

The other two parts of us are getting stronger and younger as the wisdom grows within us. But no matter how beautiful you are, you are not satisfied with your outlook.

And I wonder why this feeling of incompleteness? —- God made us wonderfully!

God made us wonderfully!

“Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.” (Psalms 139:14 NLT).

There is a measure of discontent in us, it is an insatiable feeling. And it can only be satisfied with that place we lost called Paradise. Our subconscious mind knows that we belong there. There we were able to enjoy conscious communion with God without limits.

There is a good news! There is a new way to enjoy a better communion with God! And this way is opened through Jesus!

“By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place.” (Hebrews 10:20 NLT).

Searching… there is an insatiable feeling—

We are made in the image of God and that image within us draws us to Him. Nothing can satisfy that longing.

But, you can enter to this wonderful path by asking the Lord Jesus Christ to be your Savior. Call His name and He will answer!
