Comfortable Reflections from my Garden of Exotic thoughts

( Excerpt from April 16, 2019, at 8:12 AM.)

My garden produces flowers that will bring love, hope and contentment to your soul.

My Garden of Exotic Thoughts is especially cultivated for its beauty, an exotic bloom for the soul!

The Resurrected Body

Thinking about what the risen body will be like, … the Lord ate!

Now we eat and the body gets sick because different types of food cause a large number of diseases. I don’t think we have really tasted the reality of the food. I believe that Adam and Eve’s bodies were fit to experience the real product of the earth, but after the fall, food comes from a cursed ground.

Eating in the risen body will be amazing! All the flavor is whole. The taste of anything will cause immeasurable pleasure! I envision a glorious explosion of calm pleasure and well-being, nothing poisonous to cause rot or discomfort. Hallelujah !

Body and Food are Dysfunctional

I believe that both the body and food are dysfunctional with each other, despite having the same origin. Thinking back, I get scared because I distinguish my physical body from my spiritual body.

When I take an introspective look, I visualize my spiritual body as the vast firmament on a clear day without clouds, without obstacles, without borders. Everything is light, lavished by a serene, calm and pleasant well-being.

Quite the opposite with my physical body, I see a giant garbage abyss inhabited by billions of germs, friendly and hostile with a constant power struggle. I can’t explain it, but I see it as black as night, with no light!

So it is not surprising that many foods are not only contaminated with a diseased soil, but also with everything that is added by man himself.

I wonder if obesity can be because food doesn’t satisfy that emotional part and no amount of food will satisfy it.

And people keep stuffing themselves with no satisfaction and then wake up to the sad reality, £400 and up. Now all the doors are open for a myriad of diseases.

What can we do About Food in a Fallen world?

What can we do ?

Now I must change my theology, I thought that natural foods would not satisfy the soul, only the body.

The Word of God is the food of our spirit and soul. Furthermore, as I meditated on the risen body of the Lord, I realized that the food of the earth is also for the soul.

When that food entered the mouth of that resurrected body of our Lord, His liver did not need to be alert to filter out anything uninvited. When the food entered His mouth, I imagine that a glorious explosion of wholesomeness, pleasure and well-being manifested within him; nothing poisonous that could cause rot or discomfort.

God commanded the earth to produce food and approved it, said it was good. He Made man from the soil and the food in the stomach was supposed to cause an explosion of deliciousness to nourish the body and enlighten the soul!

Since we are in this fallen world, what can we do about food? It is said that we should eat to live, not live to eat.

My Reflection for Today, 2023

My message is, don’t give food the place of God. He is the only One that can satisfy all your longings.

Everything will be restored to God’s original plan, so whether we eat fish or bread, the whole body and food will be functional. Meanwhile, I contemplate the gigantic dark abyss of garbage inside me and I intentionally choose my food and the time to eat.

I know that sugar is life for cancer cells, so I am very cautious about my sugar intake. Animal, no, no, no! Extra virgin olive oil, avocado, coconut oil, nuts, especially nuts to lower bad cholesterol, all in moderation.

I eat dessert every day, I love jam with peanut butter, avocado is a fruit and with cassava puree it is delicious. I combine roots with fruits. An exquisite breakfast is porridge made with coconut milk, salt and a little anise, served with walnuts and sesame seeds. That not only regulates cholesterol, but also your stomach.

My message is, don’t give food the place of God. He is the only One that can satisfy all your longings.

My Boundary Lines

Based on my birth weight, eleven pounds, I was predestined to be obese.

Based on my birth weight, eleven pounds, I was predestined to be obese. And obesity runs in my family, but praise God! Early in life he taught me Psalm 16:6:

“The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.”

I can humbly and gratefully say that this almost 76- year-old daughter of the Most High God lives in a pleasant 128-pds. body, full of health, love, peace, contentment, and hope.

It is my deepest desire to bring hope to everyone I comes in contact with. Age doesn’t matter, God matters! With Jesus you can do everything!

“Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and health to the bones.” (Proverbs 16:24 MEV).

This is my Story! What’s Yours?
